Rad Racer/Highway Star Playthrough 1 of 2

This is my take on the classic old school NES game, Rad Racer. Also known as Highway Star.

Ended up using 4 mabye 5 retries in total, before I beat this game. My Aim was to at least beat it in less than 10 attempts.

Man, this game is a classic; difficult too. It was squaresoft before squaresoft.

Athens is tough. As a kid, I could consistently get to the stage, but I don't think I completed it more than a handful of times. I don't believe I ever finished the game.

After you select the car you want press B as many times at the level yo want to go to ten hold /\up and A + start and you go to that level.

I have the Highway Star version! But my current famiclone crashes at the beginning of the first stage and can't play it :(. Other famiclones didn't had that trouble. I've reached the seventh level I think, really hard game. Didn't know that there's a hidden continue function. Now is too late.

The strange thing is that it was made by Squaresoft, which is more known for its RPG games (FF series, Chrono Trigger and others).
