  • he didn't get enough time to explain himself effectively.

  • @moyshekapoyre You are an idiot. Zimbardo is not Dr Phil...

If you grabbed any sociology or psychology book, you would recognize him, his researches are all over, his experiments are now a classic and his name is now immortalized.

It is not about not working hard, it is about not living your present enough to live happily.

  • the doctor gave this interview-then sped away in his silver delorean to conduct the stanford prison experiment......................in 1971

  • well when you have severe economic pressures placed upon you, you don't have time to spend with your family. Education should be free! Healthcare should be free! Stock markets, rent, mortgages and credit are nothing but control tactics used to control you. As Thomas Jefferson said "I believe the banking systems are more dangerous to our liberties than any standing army."

  • Snake! You can't do that! You'll create a Time Paradox! The Future will be changed!

  • @dewfall56 Maybe we see the former as hard-working, driven, and overall "good" people and the latter as lazy, or "bad".

  • I feel like it's not that people WANT to become workaholics, but that we're FORCED to do more outside of work in order to keep our jobs and maintain a manageable workflow.

The illusion of productivity gain via meaningless tasks is a staple driving force for bad management. When was the last time you really felt like you were doing "something important for the improvement of your company and your career" vs "something you need to do, so just do it alright"?

  • umm so do easterns stars have the same secret handshakes as freemasons???

  • You can't do that Snake!

  • i should fucking buy this book

  • @dewfall56 cause most parents would want their grown children to work work work for the next generation and the next generation...

  • @quelorepario say what?
