  • Is your cross beam 3060 (3"x6") what was the total on your hiwin rails and bearing. What's the length of you rails and bearings. Great machine you have there.

  • @mike2768 - Yes the 3060 is 3"x6". I have 73" rails on the y and 2 on the X gantry beam. - So 4 rails total. I have two blocks per rail - 8 total. This is 25 series Hiwin rail. I have about a grand in the 4 rails and 4 blocks. $150 per rail and $42 per block plus shipping. You've got a great machine too! - love to pick your brain on the plasma stuff....

  • Thanks a lot for the video. I'm definitely going with the 3060 as well. Good to know about the preload too. When I bought my first set, I thought they weren't working properly until I actually put some weight on them. Congrats on the build!
