  • At what point do you consider an Asian nose to be westernized and how does an Asian person prevent their nose from becoming westernized? Has it got something to do with the position of their nostrils or something like that? If Asians change the position of their nosrils from the horizontal shape to the vertical or rather angular shape, does that mean they have consequently westernized their noses? Please reply back, because my Japanese friend really wants to know the difference?

  • @LittleDirtyBlonde23 that is a subjective question but there are parameters. for me if the start of the bridge of the nose goes higher than the top of the eyelid instead of starting roughly at the midpupil that is a bad thing and it tends to look fake. the nose tip itself is more complicated but what i don't like is an overly pointy nose created by silicone implants. they just look fake.

  • No offense, but you remind me of Dr Steinman from bioshock.

  • @GerudoUK no offense taken since i have no idea who he is. lol.

  • your not going by scientific racial bone structures, you are going by the "social construct of race". I say this because you use the word Caucasian separate from middle easterners when in fact middle easterners are Caucasian. Caucasian is not exclusive to Europeans and much less exclusive to "blond haired blue eyed white" Caucasian has nothing to do with skin, hair, eye color it has to do with facial bone structure that many people in the world have in common.

  • @lalolita519 ok, thanks for the semantic clarification.

  • thanks!

  • Haha! Thanks doctor. Not sure what I was thinking at the time (the name). Based on the nuanced philosophy you express in this video, plus the images on your website, you seem like both a talented artist, as well as a talented man of science.
