  • Great ! If I am not wrong it has been written with Geoff Downes, in the period of the "Ride the Tiger" project (?)

  • That's correct. It's a beautiful song that unfortunately Greg/ELP didn't play so much onstage.

  • absolutely beautiful, this song is so underrated

  • Thanks for your comment - you're so right.

  • I wish he had played this during the Emerson/Lake tour last year.

  • @taleylon11 No I shouldn't. If one comes on here and says they realize this is great; kool - they're an anomaly. 3% of the 28 & under crowd doesn't mean one should make a distinction from 'All' to 'most'.

  • @Padarack1 you should say "most" instead of "all" the young folks.

  • @annikee59 Great, great point .... All the young folks, more than ever are focused on what's "kool" to be listening to. Nobody thinks for themselves or would buy a single, or song nobody they know already has

  • I was immediately fascinated by the music of this song

  • People are so afraid of everything these days and it reflects in the pop music. Soft, meaningful, deep songs never make it these days.

  • Song is seriously melancholy .. but a great, haunting tune. He wrote it with Geoff Downes, in '88 ... wound up on the Black Moon album. They wrote this song, and "Love Under Fire" ... one they flipped to ELP and the latter they flipped to Asia, for the 1st John Payne/Asia record {Aqua}

  • A song very beautiful sung and made. I wished that song would have been a soundtrack for a trip I had in 1992 to Las Vegas having an "Vegas Fling" that never happened.

  • @paul7703 That goes for the whole album :/ this is a great song.

  • Beautiful, uplifting song...the best on the album!
