We didn't need it yesterday when we whipped England on the rugby pitch but Donny should come over to Wales for evey home game and sing this. Perfect!

Like my grandma from from Cwmgwili said - fair play. Kinda says it all. Always thought he was a prick before I saw this. How wrong I was

Yn ol Wikipedia, mae ganddo fe gyndadau o Ferthyr Tydfil.

Fair play, he can sing it better than most Welsh people can!
-
That's impressive. Yes, a few words may have been mispronounced, but that was a sterling effort.
Da iawn, 'rhen Donny.

Shw mae, Mush 1955.
I know exactly what you mean. A Neath no-good-boyo, I lived and worked in Helsingborg, Sweden for 3 years in the 1980s. Usually went over The Oresund to Copenhagen by car ferry most weekends. I too noticed the (mostly) surprised looks on Swedish and Danish womens' faces when I opened the door for them, stood up in a restaurant when they came to my table and allowed them to go through doors first - that's the biggest surprise to them. We are charmers alright !
fair play to the boy. We will claim him as Welsh. Good lad.

If threre's one thing in the Welsh mentality that seperates us Taffys from the rest is that when it comes to the Welsh language, HE DID HIS BEST TO SING IN WELSH WHEN MANY OTHERS COUL'NT GIVE A SHIT !
