You guys may have to understand that Joe is Nick's older brother. He hates to see Nick go through the pain that he's going through. The things that he's saying and doing isn't so that Nick and Miley will never get back together. He'd love it if they COULD get back together, but it's been weeks since the breakup and Miley hasn't shown anyone that she's going to ask Nick for forgiveness for some sort of reconcilliation. He just doesn't want his brother to spend the rest of his life waiting on a girl that may never come back. ESPECIALLY not on his birthday. If Nick expressing his love for her and how sorry he is to the WHOLE world isn't enough for Miley, then what is? I hope this helps you guys understand Joe's intentions...
