2) A true, Holy Spirit filled pastor would neither accept nor rejoice over such nonsense.

3) This car IS NOT a blessing from God -- it is a reward from man. And according to scripture, the giving of this car as a supposed "gift" is actually DISHONORING to the office and work of a pastor.

This is a disgrace before The Living God.

I'm suprised thats the only gift the church gave him was a car...in the book of Acts Chapter 4, the people laid down everything they had sold their possesions, land, etc and laid it at the apostles feet. and none of the ppl had lack of anything. everything was distributed amongst the ppl evenly. Get to know the man/woman of God & the ministry B4 U open your mouth. Put your INNER-G somewhere else

There's nothing wrong with the church getting together and blessing their Pastor with a car! They want to show appreciation for all the years of praying and encouraging them.! It is only wrong when preachers demand things from the congregation..Lets be happy for the man of God! I remember Prophet Travis from many years ago when we used to come down to Christ Tabernacle from Richmond Va. I now attend Pastor Mark Vereen's church in Richmond, Va MayGod continue to bless him and his church family!

People are so funny, why is it when pastor are living a life that God promised with propersity there is always an envious person lurking...Learn the man before you cast judgement. understand what type person the pastor is before you assume ever pastor is living off the backs of the saints. Its better to give than it is to receive right? I've seen that scripture.
