Vintage Hoover Slimline vacuum cleaner

The Hoover Slimline vacuum cleaner. While I like the look of this vacuum it is anything but easy to use on carpeting and hard floors for that matter. With only a tiny swivel caster at the front and two small roller wheels at the back it is very ungainly. I forgot to show the interior on the video but there is a place to store the crevice tool and brush. While I was yanking it around on the carpet you can see in the video how the hose became detached.

What is the model # of your Slimline? Going by the Bali Green color, it would be a model S2017, sold in 1974.

The last Slimline Hoover produced was the model S3033, introduced around 1975 and discontinued for 1979. The main color of that unit was a two-tone combo of Sea Blue and Colonial Blue.
