This driver DIDNT die.......this is my dad, the axle of the car fell off causing this crash to happen. He was told he would never walk again but by miricle he did.
He lives in Florida in USA in a place called BelleView. Both my mum and my dad were stunt persons for a guy called Dick Sheppard who was well known within the stunt show indurstry. Dick Sheppard used to hold stunt shows in the main park in gloucester and then travelled world wide putting on stunt shows for the public to see.

Your quite right it was Richard Smith from Gloucester,i was there he did not die but did take 2 years to recover,he now lives in Dallas USA and runs his own haulage company.

Richard Smith was trying to atempt to leap more than 230 feet in a car and crashed at a estumated 140 Mph The car used was a Jenson
