Savage Bees - The Dancing Laddie (unreleased)

Second time of uploading for this .... as it had mysteriously disappeared from this channel.
An unreleased track by Savage Bees from 1986. This band was formed by Scars members Paul Research (Guitar & Vocal,) Steve McLauchlin (guitar & Programming) and John Mackie (Bass & vocal) with Teresa Mason on (BV).
The Dancing Laddie animation was scratched directly onto 16mm black film  leader by the very talented Ros Allen, ex bass player for 'Delta Five' and 'The Mekons.' It took 6 months and a seized neck to make. It was shown at Annecy '89 and licensed to Channel 4 about the same year who screened it twice. Ros is currently teaching animation to degree level at Sunderland University.

I saw this back at the time - was it a channel 4 animation showcase? It's stuck with me ever since, very glad to see it again. It's brilliant - both song and animation. Thanks for putting this up and reminding me how good it is.
