I understand that it is quite a feat to walk that long, as I never have, but god damn this guy is so annoying. He is like the guy that constantly says and laughs at his own jokes. Or the guy that somehow gets in to every party but everyone wonders who invited him.

Walking thru japan like a tourist is a good way to see Japan. Coming to live here and work here is a different story.

Being a single male here in Japan I noticed that roughly 90% of the gaijin (foreigners) who live here in Japan and are married met their spouse OUTSIDE of Japan. Kintaro is no exception in this regard - he met his wife in San Francisco.

I miss America.  I think about going back but now economy in USA sucks. Maybe once I go back I will find a cute Japanese wife.
