As a Devils fan I actually wish the Thrashers the best of luck and will root for them to win the Cup this year. It's a shame Bergie is benched though... I think both teams did well in that trade. What screwed the Devils over was Bettman.

Anyway, did you see Sopel in front of the net? I think his life flashed before his eyes as the puck flew inches from his face before going in. He even looks like he's in shock for a moment ofter the goal.

@adsbuckeye3 Yeah, I do agree that the Thrashers have been bad the last couple seasons. However, I've been a fan since day one. Well, we didn't get Ladd in the trade, my fault, but if you search "Dustin Byfuglien Trade" on google, the first result shows that the draft picks did that we obtained along with Oduya and Bergfors were traded to get Byfuglien, Sopel, and Eager. New Jersey is a very respected NHL team and is having an off season. Maybe Atlanta can get to the playoffs this year.

@adsbuckeye3 Yes, but we got Bergfors and Oduya who have contributed to our offense and defense. We also go two draft picks in which we got Andrew Ladd, Brent Sopel, Ben Eager, and Dustin Byfuglien who last time I checked leads defensemen in scoring with 33 points in 34 games. I could go on and on about how much better we are without Kovy i.e. POWERPLAY. Finally, standings....
