    emily

  • @bluberrypanther I sent you a playlist for some baby booties.

  • I am having the same problem with my slip stitches looking like a big hole. Im crocheting in the round and chaining 2 and then slip stitching into the 2nd chain when I come back around . It looks like a button hole. It certainly doesnt look right. I just cannot figure out what Im doing wrong?

  • @26purplestone It sounds like it may be a tension issue where you need to pull your yarn a little bit tighter so you do not have such big holes. Keep practicing an it will make sense.

  • Thank you I have crocheted since I was a kid...but want to be better.

  • @TodaywithRuthie You are welcome. I have a second channel with some revisted beginner tutorials. It is YouTube/crochet

  • Hi, I am new to crocheting and I was wondering if you had some nice things for a baby that use fairly simple crocheting techniques. I am a beginner and a perfectionist. The two combined can be a mess. Could you lead me in the right direction for something of yours? Booties, Blankets, Hats, Headbands, etc... :)

  • I'm trying to make slippers in single crochet in the round. At the end of the round, I've tried to do a slip stitch in the first stitch and after a few rounds, you can see them because they start slanting. Then I tried doing a slip stitch in the ch 1 at the beginning of the round and it does the same thing. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

  • thank you i get it now!

  • @tjw1963 a doll that i saw online...all the instructions are there and it says i have to know slip stitch
