AFI is fuckin' great . They sound amazing!

All I can say is wow... I really don't think there are many other bands that can do a live recording like this.
Davey has such amazing vocal chords.

@liveweyer It's AOD era, they didn't do any STS songs at this session. If it was STS era they would have done GNG since that was the first single.

best AFI tune ever

I do :)
unfortuneatley i dont know how to send it to you or i would :(

greatness
do you have the recording of ''the hanging garden'' they did on the same radio station?
-
Wow this is such a great live run. Probably the best I've ever heard them sound in a live performance. Thanks for putting this up.

Well considering how many years he's been in AFI and his vocal surgery... I'd say that they're still in great condition...
-
They also played the Hanging Garden and Days of the Pheonix during this recording which was at BBC Vaile studios back in 2003 just before the release of Sing the Sorrow I believe.
-
Davey "had" such amazing vocal chords.

I'm so sorry.. I meant to give a thumbs up! I completely agree!
This isn't late art of drowning, otherwise he'd be doing that old growl/scream of his. this is probably during sing the sorrow era. great recording.

well, late AOD or STS era is pretty close enough. :)
