George Kyparissous Demoreel 2008

In the past year, I attended the 3D Animation & Visual Effects Diploma program at Lost Boys Learning, with Mark Benard as my mentor. I chose to pursue a career as a Visual Effects Artist, with an ultimate goal of becoming a TD Generalist, trying to apply all the skills I have to achieve photorealism by integrating 3D elements in live action footage. I can handle various tasks ranging from effects to modeling, rigging,compositing, lighting and rendering. I also have good problem solving skills, previous work experience as a programmer, a BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Computing and I am a European Union citizen. I am currently located in Canada with a study permit.

I am well versed in any kind of Visual Effects work with experience in After Effects, Fusion, Maya, Boujou, Pftrack, Realflow, Shave and a haircut and Photoshop.

I usually laugh at most of the demo reels on youtube but I think this is one of the best ones I've seen. Materials need adjusting on the car and some HDRI tweaking but nice job. Better than anything I could ever do. The locusts were incredible. Very believable.
