awww you have touched my heart... I will definitely say a prayer for you and your family. I know you must go through a rang of emotions from feeling angry that it's all left to you , to felling angry with your mother for being ill, to feeling guilty for having these feelings. It's all human and you must find a way to release your feelings or you will wind up ill. Take some time for yourself and don't feel guilty because you have to re energize to be of help to someone. I am sorry for what you are going thru. My mother has alzhiemers also. She lives with me and I take care of her. It's a daily struggle. I cry with you because I know your struggles and your pain. Please be encouraged and lean on the lord for strength. Coincidently my mom is a twin also. Her twin brother passed at the age of 59. She is 82. God Bless you!

wow after veiwing this I saw a special with v.p. biden..Obama is serious about alzheimer. he just placed in the budget 800000000000 million for research and 26 million for patients..check into Obama healthcare perhaps they can help.i beleive people are being helped.I hope this helps...Peace

Best wishes to you (especially) and your family during these hard times. I understand how debilitating and horrible this disease process can be. I work(ed) in an nursing home specifically with Alzheimer's patients and my grandmother is slowly progressing into the later stages of the disease as well. All my prayers and strength go out to you, sweetie! It isn't easy, but just remember all those wonderful memories and realize the disease can't ever take those away from you <3
