A new loco to me - class 56s which in my opinion are class 66s crossed with Valentas because their horns are loud and they scream! They were working 1Z56 Huddersfield-Bath Spa. We first see them at STJ but unfortunately it had to slow down for a red just before the tunnel which was rather disappointing. But going onto happy things - thanks to peggey707 and Alxe92 for good company :-) later on we see the return at Abegravenny to see them hellfire!! Listen to when it opens up through the platforms! Apologies for the quick shot at the platform - the horn made my ears fall off!
BIG thanks to hstman14 for info and timings! :-)
Enjoy!!!

  • what a relaxing ride with this retros...you'll forget the hard times in this world...this will lead you to another place of peace of mind..

  • Its certainly a colourful train, with one ex-Artemis engine (with Colas sticker on the cab), one plan grey and one Virgin, then we get to the coaching stock with Virgin red and black, BR blue and even a brown and cream Mk1!

  • lol made you jump that was loud horn nice video ther i went to see one on same day 40145 thrugh castleford have look 100% A++++++++

  • woooow at 1:25-1:44 sing my beatuiiiiiiiiii eat ur heart out mtus thats british hellfire. awsome hun . 5 stars x

  • Sorry mate I do apologise, ive just bought this months rail magazine and saw an article about it.

  • Colas are paying for it to be done as its now on long erm hire and will move down south for the Dollands Moor traffic with 312. 2 47`s are now moving north for the timber traffic! Wont say who i work for but we are `as hard as hats`!

  • Thats why I like 56s, they were the regular screamers! 5*, on a different note it was the first time ever a Virgin 57/3 has been used as ETS on a charter, so quite a rarity too!

  • How can it go into full Colas livery when it is owned by Hanson?

  • Nice video Miranda, yet again! 56311 is going in to FULL Colas livery shortly!

  • Brilliant video 5* and added to faves :)

    Cheers,

    Dean
