It's Going To Be Okay - Season 2 Episode 17

*The next day Demi was released from the hospital. As the next few weeks passed by, Demi, Selena, and Danielle were all busy planning their weddings. Demi had also moved in to the house that Kevin bought and it was now the seven of them. The third month into Demis pregnancy, she was back at the hospital having a check up done. She had also decided that it was time to have a test done to see who the babys father was. Demi, Joe and Mitchell were sitting in the examination room waiting for the results*
Demi: (Sighs)
Joe: Are you okay?
Demi: (Nods)
Mitchell: Are you sure?
Demi: Guys, Im fine. Stop worrying.
Joe: Kind of hard not to.
Mitchell: Tell me about it.
Joe: Im sure the result will work out the way its meant to.
Mitchell: Right. And you and Joe can live your lives with the family you deserve.
Demi: Youre being awfully nice about this guys.
Joe: Well what did you expect? If Mitchell is your friend, then Im not going to hate him. I mean of course I do hate some things hes done, but Im sure the feeling is mutual.
Mitchell: Exactly, Dem. He loves you I can tell. All Ive ever wanted is for you to be happy. And clearly you are with him. Besides, I have finally moved on.
Demi: (Smiles) Really?
Mitchell: (Smiles back and nods) Im happy too now.
Demi: Im so glad.
Mitchell: Of course Ill always love you, but Im no longer in love with you, no offence.
Demi: Trust me, none taken.
Mitchell: So I think it will all work out for the best if Joe is this babys father. I have a feeling that youre finally about to get some good news.
Joe: Thanks man.
Demi: (Smiles)
Doctor: (Walks in) Miss. Lovato?
Demi: (Swallows hard) Yes Doctor?
Doctor: (Looks at Joe) The father is Mr. Jonas.
Demi: (Sighs in relief)
Mitchell: (Smiles) Congratulations.
Demi: Thanks Mitchell.
Mitchell: (Stands up) Well I guess Ill leave you two. See you (Leaves)
Joe: (Smiles and kisses Demi) I am so happy.
Demi: Me too.
Doctor: So with your ultrasound, I may be able to determine the sex.
Demi: (Smiles and nods) Okay.
Joe: Are you sure you want to know?
Demi: Babe, I think we already do.
Doctor: (Performing the ultrasound) Congratulations you two, youre having a girl
Demi: (Quietly screams) I knew it.
Joe: (Kisses Demi again)
Doctor: (Still moving the wand around on her stomach) And, a boy.
Joe: (Looks away from Demi, at the Doctor) Wait, what?
Demi: Theres two?
Doctor: (Nods) Youre having twins.
Demi: Oh my god.
Joe: (Sighs) Yeah
Demi: (Smiles) Were having twins, Joe.
Joe: (Smiles back) I love you so much.
Demi: (Kisses him) I love you too.

*That night at home, Kevin, Danielle, Nick, Selena, David, Miley, Joe and Demi were all eating supper, talking about the upcoming weddings*
Selena: I am so excited, Nick. It wont be much longer before were officially a family.
Nick: Sel, were already a family.
Selena: You know what I mean.
Nick: (Kisses her hand) I know. I cant wait for you to be Mrs. Jonas.
Miley: Hey now, there are two other future Mrs. Jonas in the room too you know.
Kevin: (Looks at Danielle and smiles) Thats right.
Danielle: Oh my goodness, speaking of families, Demi! How did you make out at the Doctor today?
David: Whoa, thats right I completely forgot that was today.
Joe: (Fakes a frown and takes Demis hand)
Demi: (Fakes a frown also) Mitchell
Selena: Dem?
Nick: Its Mitchells?
Demi: (Quickly smiles) Is not the father.
Danielle: Oh you brats.
Joe: (Laughs)
Miley: Thats great guys.
Joe: Theres more
Kevin: Oh, what is it?
Joe: (Confused) Howd you
Kevin: I heard it in your voice.
Joe: (Laughs again) Youre weird.
Selena: Anyways What are you having Dem?
Demi: (Smiles) Were having a boy.
Nick: (Knowing she wanted a girl) Congratulations?
Demi: (Looks at Joe)
Joe: (Nods) And a girl.
David: Youre having twins?
Demi: (Nods with a grin on her face)
Selena: Oh, guys, thats great.
Miley: Yeah, congrats.
Danielle: Totally.
Kevin: So the good news finally just keeps coming.
Nick: Finally is right.
