Gibson Custom Shop '58 VOS Les Paul Limited Edition Butterscotch

Demo for my new Gibson....this one is a rare butterscotch finish, limited edition.
The Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Pal Standard VOS (Vintage Original Spec) guitar has a carved plain maple top and solid mahogany back and sides. The rounded-profile neck is one piece mahogany with original style truss rod. Dual Burstbucker pickups, tone and volume controls that use original CTS pots and bumblebee capacitors deliver a truly vintage sound.

I wrote Gibson custom shop and here's what thay had to say,
"Hi Jason, We've found the production total for the "Butterscotch" finish for your R8 Les Paul VOS, the Custom Shop did indicate that it was less than 25. We've determined that these were a limited run produced exclusively for Canadian distribution, and they shared the same specs as our other '58 VOS models. Thank you for your inquiry."

Hi Jason... awesome Geetar and fantastic playing! Did these butterscotch limited edition 58's come polished from the factory with VOS hardware? I saw one for sale recently and the body looked like it was buffed with a high gloss finish but the pickup covers and screws were VOS "reliced", although the tail piece and bridge looked non reliced. Is your guitar this way, too? Thanks in advance and ROCK ON!!!

@aboduryan1969 its got a dull finish actually....there is no relicing at all...the pickup covers are slightly tarnished...just a stock VOS 58 I guess...Thanks for your comment. cheers!

@dparel you can't order this one...it was a limited edition, less than 25 made and sent to canada in a butterscotch....but you can order a 58 vos in colors available....

@JayDeeSG I'm in the process of buying one of these badboys, and the neck is between the 50's and 60's, not too fat and not too thin- Just right. Can't go wrong with one of these!
