I was a tiny child, loving this song like crazy in Texas.

I was thinking about this song today. The lyrics were so instructive to me. Didn't know much about the history of Blacks in the UK until this song.

@Bacongrease4: I think so - it's about the Windrush programme. Migrants from the west indies came into the UK and helped re-build the country; but of course, their own experiences weren't always great.
