then we went to the editing process. instead of the green we put in the shots of our stage. now freddy was standing in front of our musicians and on our stage. then we mixed these shots with the wide shots (showing the double) and the shots ot the audience.

of course the computer helped to match the look of all these different shots.... :-))

it was a hell of a lot of work. but i loved it. and i am happy that you like it, too !

Hi...i´m the bass player in this video. the audience saw an actor on stage, he moved almost the way freddie did. after they recorded the show they edited it digitally.

Amazing!! Even with CGI, this would still have been difficult.

I can't imagine what Freddie was feeling,he WAS so strong looking, & virile.

So sad to see the shell he became. Aids is horrible disease.. taken some "famous" people, Rock Hudson.. Gia Carangi, many more.

Very Sad.. wish Freddie had of known the dangers way back when... he would still be here if he did.

The world lost a fantastic talent the day he died :)

the thing is, if freddie was alive and well today, he wouldnt look anything like this. so what we see here is cool but not anywhere near how i would envisage freddie had he been alive in 2006

The more explanation I read the less I like that German trick. Actor imitating Freddie's moves. Who needs a fake? Freddie lives in our memories and I believe he exists in better place, where we all will meet one day. He died too soon, for sure. But he gave us so much during his short life so we don't need any tricks.

Remember that episode of American Idol when they did something similar with Elvis, that's the only episode I ever watched of that crappy show only because I love Elvis so much, This was a great video, you made it perfectly... Good song also, I also love Queen.

Rudi Dolezal has an enormous archive of Queen footage --- there you are - all edited and unknown shots were included .

@utzweber : wonderful, the actor, beautiful, i love Freddie for my live! This was a relatively simply song for Freddie, but i believe in his illness he can´t not many hours working.... This is one of my absolutely favorite songs, simply or not, it doesn´t a matter! This was Freddie goodbye to his many, many fans and i was very, very, shocked November 91, this was like yesterday. I miss him so much, i can´t describe in words... but wonderful show, they cut it, but it´s not urgend! Thomas
