Vintage Japanese Kimono Fabric Dolls

These are dolls made by my grandmother and mom in Japan around 1970. The king and queen were wedding gifts from my grandmother. My grandmother is a very hands on crafter. These dolls are very expensive to buy in Japan so she taught her daughters how to make them.

@Aloesaloes my daughters wanted to put their's in their rooms but if I destroyed so many peices at their age I can't image what these would look like...so for now...in my cases, but they know which ones are their's ;)

i got a little head, i'd like to get him a body ,i bought it at a second hand store,betwen a lot of plastic toys i collect this things,but is hard to get textiles and bodies to finsh them...
