You can buy the crate at staples and the tubes are pvc downspout available a home depot.

the plexiglass is also available at Home Depot

The crates already have a channel that the sluggo tray slides in. It's for hanging file folders. The sluggo tray slides back and forth without coming free unless you lift it out. I've never had an issue with the Plexiglas. This crate was designed with surf casters in mind so it was made for the typical size plugs they would use. For ultralight stuff, I would probably just use a tackle box. Thanks - Ron

Creative use of cheap materials. Good ideas that are well executed. Have you considered routing a channel on either side of the crate. This would allow the sluggo trays to travel but not be knocked free.  Also, the plexiglass is brittle when exposed to salt water or long hours in the sun. Have you considered a different plastic?

Lastly, all your gear is for big fish. Do you have a solution that is similar for ultralight fisherman?
