After years of diligent PSA screenings, Patrick Walsh was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Though Walsh had no prostate cancer symptoms, Dr. David Samadi stressed the severity of a prostate cancer diagnosis and recommended robotic prostatectomy surgery. Walsh's decision to go forward with the surgical removal of his cancerous prostate saved his life.
Dr. Samadi is Vice Chairman of the Department of Urology and Chief of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center.
