heey marcel,
Ik ben gestopt met TKD en verder gegaan met fitness. Echter zou ik graag weer eens een toernooitje meedoen op een zondag vanaf juni. Doe jij nog ergens mee waar ze stijl en sparringswedstrijd hebben? liefst omgeving tiel/ utrecht. Hoor het graag vj!

I was real scared to do my form next to him.. I had 3 or 4 times total shock and the idea he will hit me!!
Year after we did 1 by 1 and I became number 1;)

@marcellodder1 Hi Marcel, That sure was a different way of kata-competition then we were used to. We didn't compete in Tiel in 2007, but I don't remember why. In 2008 we did go there again, getting me a second place in forms if I recall correctly.

What in the world is Taekwon-Do guy doing there...nice control though...

This was a championship where two people had to do their form at the same time, the judges then would vote one of them to the next round. I had to do my form six times before reaching the finals ;-)
I prefer doing forms solo and getting scored though.

Besides doing these "forms", did you guys ever fight in a tournament? Can you actually use the staff in a fight besides swatting it in thin air?

I did do quite some training sessions fighting with the staff. Never did it in a tournament however, since as far as I know there aren't any.
