This Manhattan Transfer clip is from a 1987 tour of Japan.

The vocals are, of course, performed by Janis Siegel, Tim Hauser, Alan Paul and Cheryl Bentyne. The MT band, during this tour, included Yaron Gershovsky (MD-piano-keyboards), Frank Colon (percussion), Alex Blake (bass), Buddy Williams (drums), and Don Roberts (sax).

  • @atty1chgo I can't remember which one, but their husband teaches AP music theory at my school. Been taking classes with him for 3 years now.

  • I'd bang either one of them. LOL

  • @Sharkim66 This was recorded 23 years ago & they were just a bit younger & fitter.

Thats the longest I've ever seen Janis's hair

  • How did Janis and Tim get so slim and trim!!/?

  • Yeah, sound is really bad,but this group is the greatest.I also love Cheryl's voice.

  • this is a true classic. Well done by Manhattan Transfer I just love Janis Seigel

  • Actually this sounds awful. The band is way too busy, none of the parts from the album are there. At the end the feel changes and the saxophone line conflicts horrible with the vocal solo.

  • the alto looks like adrienne bailon
