  • The first race was more legit because it was the first race. The Eaton was heatsoaked after two 60-140 pulls, probably down 50 horsepower or more. Regardless, you didn't post it, that's weak

  • did not do 60 to 140 pulls. first race had to let out early because there was a turn.... second race missed the 3rd gear..... third race was from 40 to stretching out the end of fourth gear. And heatsoaking in 30 degrees?? come on dude. The rx7 never even got to opporating temp the entire time. But ill remake it and post the first race too just for you... heat soak..pfft

  • I didn't know you were in the habit of only showing the races where the import wins. What about the first most legit race when the Cobra won?

  • pretty sure the last race was the most legit.... lowest roll to the highest speed. What was more legit about the first race?

  • All I hear are excuses. I love when domestic guys make an excuse they make it sound like a legitimate problem and when there is a legitimate problem with an import they scream out ricer excuses.

  • slightly boosted 3rd Gen RX-7 pulls a pullied Cobra...WITH a passenger & Morons whine about possible heat soak. NEWS FLASH...the stock intercooler on the RX-7 was heatsoaked as well (it's extremely small & inefficient - then add another 40% more boost = heatsoak). However, BOTH cars would have been cooled signifciantly by the cold air so neither had an "advantage". The RX-7 was just faster...3rd gear pulls in boosted 3rd Gens are pretty lethal.

  • thats all crap my best runs we usually the second ones anyway i walked past scott on my second run and it was similar temps to this night. by the way i love how the video is taped through a dirtyass window.

  • ok next time we have to do a run with no pass in each of the cars. a pass in my car is more of a disadvantge then a potential heatsoaked cobra.

    This results in hot air, the stock computer pulling timing, and in extreme cases like the last race, Cat Overtemp Protection where the computer tries to achieve a 9:1 afr in order to cool the engine down.

  • @smg944 Best racing I've seen in a while. If you don't think the Eaton got heatsoaked then you don't really understand what it is or how it works. You can have 35 degree air before the blower, but once the blower gets heatsoaked and compresses the air as it passes through, it heats it up substantially.

  • thats all bs about the heatsoak it was 30 degrees tops outside. i was also well out of my band on the first run. either way post up all 3 im fine with it all. still were solid runs all around nice and close.
