  • that your son that driving

  • @atvking04032 No that's peanunt, a life long friend, who is actually 10 years older than me

  • Even though this implement is working quite nicely, taking the crown off of the road is detrimental, you should maintain the crown. Perhaps it would be better if you stick to the right hand side of the road only.

  • @SLORRIFJART321 The crown will occur naturally as you drive across the road, that is why it can get to be such a steep angle over time. If you want to cut the crown into the road as you use the land plane, you can angle the attachment to adjust the crown to your liking.

  • Yes We are located in Newton, NC!

  • Great Video Ted! I really like how you did the work and how the road turned out. Explaining how you adjusted the land leveler, and about not having to use the rippers in the box blade helped a bunch. I live in Washington State on the Westside of the Cascades; it rains all of the time and my road is a mess. I do the best I can with a box blade but can’t come close to what you guys did with the Land Leveler. The Land Leveler and “Peanut” ROCK!

  • @Twangfactor - I didn't know that it worked as well as it did either. I agree on both counts. The Land Leveler, and Peanut both Rock! Thanks for watching Jim, and let us know when you are ready for yours . . .

  • Wonderful tool for what it's designed for. Love the tractor..

  • I guess i don't see why you would want to get rid of your crown? Thats what gets the water off to the sides instead of puddling up on your flat spots because then when cars drive through the puddles the splash pushes the rock out creating pot holes. Just my opinion but we got about a 100yrd gravel drive and the crown seems to work best for us.

  • Seems like you would want a high center so rain would run off.

  • Great vid !! Love the results.

  • Newbie tractor question: do you set the 3 point level all the way down or something higher and adjust as you go?

  • that your sun that driving
