I find that blackbar very useful, because of the Microsoft Office features that Google has on it.
Working with spreadsheets directly on the browser instead of an Microsoft Excell doc. is way easier and safer.
I'd suggest on trying it and try to make a diffrence between Google Docs (on the blackbar) and Microsoft Office.
