Word of advice: in NJ set the cruise at 79mph unless you have a "rabbit" in front of you. Cops in NJ never pull you over for the first teir of speeding (1-14mph over the limit). On the other hand, if you know the road well drop the hammer and slow down for those nasty u-turn spots.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHI
GHT!

@MeditationDub He is driving a 2007 or up. They went from I6 engines to v8 in the 2007-present model m3's
-
I so agree with you man. Back in high school i had this same thing happen. A guy passed me going well over the speed limit but because i was driving an e32 750 he thought it'd be funny to pull me over instead of the guy in the jacked up truck going faster. Cops are assholes sometimes.

I don't see why everyone is so pissed at this guy. Sounds like he was trying to save his own ass because, after all, there are definitely some shithead cops out there trying to fulfill their monthly dues on innocent people.

I understand you man... left lane is passing lane, and sometimes you just have to pass on the right, because the dumb ass toes not wanna move... trooper should make the slow traffic get to move to the right lane where they belong....

and the point of this video was ....? grow up buddy, and get out of middleschool days
-
So what kind of M3 you driving? And you say V8, they upped from the V6 in what...the 2010+ models correct?
-
Even if he gave you a speeding ticket, you wouldve won in the court because he had no proof.
-
Fair cop imo.Theres them would throw the book at you.
Ur a fucking idiot it takes one second to pace you and they don't have to wait a quarter mile there is no law ur fucking lying that's why you got a ticket dumb ass

@gunnner1015 - Yeah, thanks. He didn't pace me, that's the entire point. Accelerating from a 5mph roll after escorting contruction vehicles on the shoulder to to about 3 cars back, pacing me? Yeah, right. He heard a loud V8 car and decided he wanted to show off his badge. How many more keyboard warriors out there want to make another assumption?

I live and drive in Jersey, and somehow I have managed to never get pulled over by a New Jersey State Trooper... Maybe that is because I FOLLOW THE FUCKING LAW!

@DTMRM8 - Cool story bro. I also follow the effing law. I did nothing wrong, unless passing someone going mind numbling slow in the fast lane is wrong....then my bad. You could probably say I was being smart and avoiding a dangerous situation by moving away from the unattentive driver. Funny how everyone here has a comment/opinion but knows nothing about the situation or what type of driver I am.

@ahmedshamoo clearly you did something to get the attention of the trooper. They do not arbitrarily pull people over for no reason. He got mad because you said "about 70" when you know exactly how fast you were going. If you do not know how fast you were driving then you are not driving with due regard. Man up and take the ticket you earned.

@DTMRM8 - Actually, as I stated earlier, I passed a typical NJ "left lane bandit" on the right. And yes, I know how fast I was going. I was going "about 70". Would you rather me say, "I was going 68 at mile marker 117, then I accelerated to 69, at which point my phone vibrated and I looked over, so I coasted to 67." The trooper simply saw a BMW M3 with aftermarket wheels and decided to pull me over. The V8 I have is also somewhat loud, so perhaps it caught his attention as well.
