1.5 volt AAA size battery sends electrical energy to the coil when the reed switch closes. The reed switch cycles open and close as the 1 inch dia. Neo sphere magnet rotates. The green LED blinks as the reed switch cycles. I find it interesting that the1.5 volt battery will not 'light up' the green LED on its own, but, as the NEO sphere cycles through a rotation, a pulse of electricity is created that is powerful enough to light the LED.

This project was an effort by myself to 'replicate' a device that was, for a short time, posted in a YouTube video, and then quickly removed, by YouTube user ZEROPOINT132 in August 2009

  • Well done,

can you please post a circuit diagramm

    at my forum

    overunityDOTcom ?

    Many thanks.

    Regards, Stefan.

Stephan, The circuit is simply a loop from the battery, through the coil, to the reed switch, and back to the battery. It's been a few months since I've played around with this and I can't recall exactly how I had the LED wired in. I'm working on new pulse motor more in line with the Steorn set-up and will be sure to include a diagram of the circuit when I'm ready to next post here on YouTube. By the way, there is nothing Overunity about this set-up. Just a fun project.
