They are having a ball . This is so refreshing to not see over these produced talk shows today. This is raw and real. Douglas may not be the greatest singer, but Al is one of the best there ever was. What a cool cat and voice to boot !

My dad co hosted the Mike Douglas show many times. I always loved him on the Douglas show because it was so casual . Dad loved co hosting with Mike. I remember asking my father if burning the sheet music was planned. And of course he said "No way kid." Dad had an insane sense of humor and was always pulling tricks and practical jokes on his friends. Thank you for this! tear

I love this clip - I wish more episodes of the Mike Douglas show were readily available - your Dad is so natural singing live here, it only reinforces my view that the world missed out by not having "The Al Martino Show". Burning the sheet music is such an OMG moment - love it!
