@MrPilot1230 it's not the landing gear. that's fine, i think it's just the angle it's being viewed from. plus, since it's fixed gear, why would he declare an emergency, he may not have even known since there's nothing inside that would alert him to that. sounds more like it was something with the engine

ONE amazing thing that happened to me and my dad as we approached shoreham airport in the united kingdom was that an Piper Warrior came in behind us number 2 and then had to declare and emergancy as there was smoke in cockpit but we went round and after all it was just overheating oil! but was fun to see from the air.

Wait! The back main wheels look lower probably cause of the hard lading??!!!

Which one? they both look normal to me. Why would you need the fire trucks for that? Unless you lock up the breaks and the breaks are red & smoking hot.

I dont know what the emergency vehicles are doing, but those wheels on the Cessna 172 Show bend!

From that distance its really hard to tell even zoomed in. Also the Cessna 172's landing gear is suppose to have a little bit of bend in it to help absorb the shock of landing and the weight of the plane while on the ground.

not exactly but i think it might have been an over heating engine or high oil temp problem with the engine. I'm not sure exactly but it was a hot day that day so i might have been one of those and it might have been something else.
