@penguinpro123 Sadly there's no such thing as a "fast" explosion in Blender. Normally for a movie quality explosion you would have to carefully plan your animation with multiple instances of the same object being blown + fire particles emitters and then tones of node editing on the materials and tweaking. And then there's baking to be done and so forth... really, a good explosion doesn't come easy in Blender. We are the limited ones ;^).

Combine this baby with a Lattice to direct the particles in a cone/pyramidal shape and you'll get the vacuum gun effect.
-
you have to check the "emitter" checkbox in your particle system. took me a while to figure that out

it didn't work for me, little dots just started coming off

very nice! by the time u finished super3boy was about half way through his advertising speech lol. One question though, how could u make a fast explosion. Like if u see a car blow up in a move its quick and fast

hey thats really nice! thanks alot man, that video was VERY good and explained. I got a little confused on the BAsic, Random to .6 part because you say 600. So after that i was confused whether you meant 600/.6 or 200/.2 etc. but other than that this is by far the best tutorial I've seen! ill subscibe if i see even just ONE more like this from you. thanks alot!
