Marijuana is not a gateway drug! Drug Dealers are the gateway, because of increased profits from selling harder drugs.

Why don't they ever run stories on how Codeine or Oxycontin ruins lives. The answer is money... the major shareholders of most media sources are also the primary shareholders of pharmaceutical companies. They are afraid of legalizing cannabis, because it treats so many different things and that is a bad thing for their profits!

Greed, money, and power prevent legalization!

because of the weed laws people put weed in the same category as hard drugs and they find out weed is harmless and think the same about harder drugs and trying harder drugs just once could be one time too many for some one time and they are hooked. i used to think better about people from the UK but i guess they have just as many ignorant people as the US, if not more.

The main reason that marijuana is not legal is due to pharmaceutical companies. They do not want any competition so the lobby the politicians to keep it illegal. There is no proof that marijuana is a gateway drug. If you are going to say that it is then you first have to say that tobacco and beer are gateway drugs.

If their was a gateway than the real gateway is tobacco when I was 12 that was the first "drug" I tried! but wait actually I had sugar before that so I guess sugar is the REAL gateway drug!

@Bernardthecheesecake basically it wouldnt be so much of a fuckin gateway drug if it was sold in shops..coz then you could get your clean cannabis clean and with the guarantee that no other A class bullshit would be mixed in /offered to you.also,Im pretty sure I would never have tried E or coke or speed if canabiss was legal. i wouldve stuck to my weed and alcohol.do the maths.weed is class B.same class as speed. MAKES SENSE HUH. and yeah im raging. i hope someone reads this and learns something
