Sunday 14.12.08 - 19:14 T356 leads a short Link Tour special with only 3 carriages through Sunbury at a sedate pace. The tour was running 8 minutes early when it came through.
Friday 19.12.08 - 19:44 T356 leads a longer special consisting of 7ABE, 17 BE, 25 BE, 38 BE, 18 CE, 14 CW, 61 BW and 1 BCE with S313 trailing. THe plan was to film the train arriving and being overtaken by V/locities then go up to Sunbury Bank and film it climbing the hill, but as any railfan knows, gunzelling plans never go to plan!!! The V/locities were running 30 minutes late so the tour left on time at 20:01. It's great to see T356 giving off some smoke as it powers away! Note S313 only begins powering as it crosses the points out of Sunbury.
Also note the people partying in 14CW yell out 'He's got a camera!!!' and come yelling and screaming over to the side of the carriage for me to film them!!! lol.
Good video there mate. Thanks for posting and keep up the good work.

Interesting video featuring some old style rollingstock and locomotives from an earlier era.
Do not know what stable the streamliner came from as its livery is unknown to me.Good to see a full length train as well as it adds to the great vision and audio.Well Done.

Thanks for your comment. The streamliner is a Victorian Railways S class, owned by Steamrail Victoria as is the T class that was leading. The S class used to be in a blue and gold 'Steamrail' livery, but it was painted into the new livery you can see in the video for the filming of Ghost Rider at Newport Workshops. Sooner or later it is going to go back into VR livery.
