I'm glad that you were able to bounce back so well from your job loss. Sometimes the "coolest jobs" are so easily and quickly concluded. It can be devastating. The same thing happened to me last year at my first law office fresh out of school. Such things are learning experiences to send red flags in our trade for the future in our careers. I'm sure you'll do well.
