Sahashi Fails To Declare Selling Stocks

Former Nova president Nozomu Sahashi failed to declare to Jasdaq that his and his family's share of Nova had reduced to 19% at the end of last month, down from 71% at the end of March. Such large selling of shares of a major stockholder requires a report to be lodged within 5 days of the sale, but Sahashi still has not submitted a report, in violation of the share trading law.

ＮＯＶＡが明らかにしたところによりますと、創業者で経営破たんの直前に解任された猿橋前社長と、猿橋氏や親族らが所有する会社は、ことし３月末の時点でＮＯＶＡの発行済­み株式のあわせて７１％を保有していました。しかし、先月末の時点では１９％に大きく減少し、猿橋前社長らが株式の過半数を手放していることがわかりました。金融商品取引­法では、一定以上の割合を持つ大株主は、株式の保有状況が変化した場合、５日以内に報告することが義務づけられています。しかし、猿橋前社長らは今もこの報告を行っていな­いということで、金融当局では金融商品取引法に違反している疑いがあるとして事実関係を調べることにしています。
