When Bob Dylan brought an electric guitar to the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, he changed the course of music for good. Dylan's performance of Maggie's Farm is "the most written about event in rock history," and this video has a pulsating drive and urgency that is unlike any other live performance, before or since.

That was the concert they pretentious stuck up folky types booed him but it was one of the greatest things he ever done was put out records like Bringing it all back home and highway 61.
Dya think he gonna strum a commie woody Guthrie type songs all his life.or evolve.and make history.with recordings such as.maggies farm. and Ballad of the thin man.And then go on to inspire JImi hendrix to sing.and give the beatles their first joint.
