Finishing up the Joshi run with one of today's biggest Joshi stars. Azumi Hyuga's career actually began in the heyday of All Japan Women's. Even back then, it was evident that she had big things ahead of her. As time went on, Hyuga found her niche, and hasn't looked back since. She is often compared to Manami Toyota, to which I would agree with, to a certain extent. Hyuga's offense is one of the most versatile in the game today, combining a vast array of strikes, slams, and aerial tactics to take her opponents down for the three count. The Michinoku Driver II and Destiny Hammer have put down many of Hyuga's toughest opponents.

wow...I didn't think I would see another Victory Star Drop! Even more ironic that Toyota was the victim. Question - was/is it a big match move, or is it so rare you'll probably won't see more than 2-5 ever done?

Azumi really knows how to work over her opponents...she's just plain BRUTAL. Her approach seems to be to inflict nonstop pain. I wonder how others stand it? The rolling suplexes must be agonizing.
