Mr. Bob interveiws Paul n Ricky.avi

My first cartoon done entirely in Flash, but using scanned drawings, the first of many in the new cartoon series I am going to do. This is an alternate story to the ''Ricky in a sticky situation'' cartoon.

This is my first and probably last flash cartoon that I will do in this style because the scanned drawings make the file bigger than a flash cartoon really ought to be, plus I don't like the way the edges of the drawing have some nasty ''flakiness'' to them, so the rest in the series will be done with the flash vector graphics.

For those of you concerned about the future of my hand-drawn cartoons, don't worry about that, they certainly are NOT dead, as a matter of fact I am currently working on a feature length cartoon that's going to be done entirely by hand.

You ever heard of Toon Boom Studio. Its much easier than basic and boring Flash. Not hating on flash just Toon Boom seems more in line with what many amateurs want and need. Such as myself and you.

@FoundationsofPause I glanced at it and I thought ''meh'' I'II still use my stop motion paper ''puppets'' for my feature length cartoon and flash for the 5-minute-funnies.

clem, isn't there a program that lets you just color anything within a drawing? i mean, can't you just click an area such as a face, then select a color and have it change it to that color?

@lineartechbd1600 Actually i did just that when I drew this. The drawings were done by hand without filling in any colour, then I used GIMP to add the colour. I had pre-made some colour patterns with pens witch I scanned into the computer than put into gimp's pattern folder so I could use them and make it look as if it was coloured by hand.

@fouskasofrynos That's his hair, the Ricky I once knew was kind of a butt-head, so I made his hair like that as a kind of joke.

@CoolDudeClem Fair enough thought you should know. Flash can eat hours of your time for no good reason.
