The annual fourth of July flyby of F-16s over central Ohio. The F-16 is also known as the Fighting Falcon. They are flown by the Ohio Air National Guard in Springfield in the 162nd Fighter Squadron.

The F-16, the premier multirole US fighter, weighs about 18 tons. Formerly packs of four of these jets circled the area on holidays, but the number has dropped to two.

The noise from the jet airplanes also managed to kick up some birds. A crow or a Red-winged Blackbird then attacked a turkey vulture as the planes circled and as a whitetail deer and a rabbit watched it all.
