Devon's P.O.V.
We all got our bowling shoes and picked out which bowling balls we would use. Determining the order in which we would be bowling took a little bit of time. We finally decided on Joe, Me, Nick, Sam, Kevin, then Sara. As Joe got ready for his first shot the rest of looked on in eager anticipation wondering if he was all talk. He bowled and gutter-ball. We all burst out laughing.
"Wow, so that's how your gonna beat us?" I asked Joe as I was cracking up.
Joe gave me a look, but didn't say anything. He just waited for his ball to come back and bowled again. This time it was a perfect strike and we all stared at him dumbfounded. "You were saying," Joe said to me.
"Oh great now the pressure's on!" I said as I got up to bowl. I tried to calm myself down. I can do this. It's no big deal. After I bowled there were two pins left standing.
"Not bad," Kevin told me.
Nick was next and he had his game face on. He definitely wanted to win and his competitive side was showing. He bowled a perfect strike. "Take that Joe," he jokingly taunted his brother as the rest of us laughed. We continued to bowl and the winner of the first game was.... Joe. Nick came in a close second and I was surprised to see that I came in third.
"Wow, third. I didn't think I was that good. I haven't bowled in forever," I commented.
We decided to bowl another game. As we bowled we continued to talk and joke around. We pretty much were as loud as we could get, but we didn't care no one else was in the building. I think we did annoy the manager a bit, but we didn't care.
"Oh by the way you did great at graduation," Kevin said to me and Sam.
"Really? Thanks, but we were disappointed that we couldn't talk to you after," we said in unison.
"Yeah we were too, but we had to do an interview, we pushed it kinda close as it was," Kevin explained.
We were about halfway through our second game when the manager came over to us. "Uh-oh, I think he's gonna yell at us for being too loud," Nick whispered to us in a joking manner and we all laughed.
"Just letting you guys know that I have to open up to the public in about a half hour, but your welcome to stay if you want," he told us, but we knew he wanted us out.
"Okay thanks," Sara replied. We quickly finished up our game, which Nick won totally blowing Joe away, and were about to leave when we saw a bunch of girls pressed against the doors looking in.
"Ummm... is there a back way out?" Kevin asked the manger not really in the mood to be chased by girls at the moment.
"Why?" the manger asked confused.
"Maybe because we dont want to get trampled by screaming girls on our way out?" Joe commented in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Why would the girls be screaming after you?" the manager asked more confused than ever.
"Well, we are on of the biggest sensations in the world right now, Jonas Brothers," Nick told him.
"Never heard of you," he said. "And sorry there's no back exit."
"Well obviously you don't have kids or listen to the radio. When You Look Me In The Eyes, S.O.S., Burnin' Up ring a bell?" I asked.
"Oh, those Jonas Brothers," he said finally realizing who they were.
"Yeah, what other Jonas Brothers would we be talking about," Sam said as we ran out the door.
"Follow us into the tour bus," Kevin told us as we dashed out the door to what can be described as chaos.
"I don't think having the tour bus right outside was such a great idea," Joe said as we finally got inside out of breath.
"You think?" Sara asked.
"So now that were here do want a tour of the tour bus?" Nick asked us.
"Haha, you just said tour like twice in two seconds," Joe laughed. Nick just gave him a look.
"You are easily amused," Sara pointed out.
"Yeah I am, but I think we all are," Joe replied.
"This is true, I know at least for me," I added.
"Okay so the first stop on our grand tour is the kitchen," Kevin pointed out. "This is where we eat."
"Next is the bathroom," Joe said. "And just fyi it's a little small."
"Thanks Joe. We really needed to know that," Sam told him.
"I know, that's why I said it," Joe stated.
"And finally these are our bunks," Nick showed us.
"Oh we should try to guess whos is whos," Sara exclaimed.
"Okay, this one's kinda messy so I think it's Joe's," I said.
"Hey," Joe said trying to sound insulted.
"This ones Nick's, Kevin's, and Frankie's," Sam said as she pointed to each bunk.
"Wow you guys are good," Kevin told us.
"I'm starving, is there any place good to eat around here?" Joe questioned.
"Of course you are," Nick laughed.
Me, Sam, and Sara looked at each other knowingly. We knew the perfect place.
