@jonieldumx This song is called "Old Love", and is Erics' musical fare-well to his former wife, Patti, who he met whilst she was still married to George Harrison - Eric and George were life-long friends. "Layla" was the song which let her know how obsessed he was with her, and "Old Love" tells her that she will never be out of his mind - a powerful statement, considering Eric has 'moved-on' with a number of involvements and a marriage since they split. Points for honesty, Sir!

@MrRoshanfiroz so just because a magazine says something, thats a fact? and Layla, u can thank Duane Allman for making that badass riff up and that slide guitar at the end, thats Duane too. Clapton did make the lyrics from a poem he read by=ut the music behind it was Allman. and i didnt say everyone has to agree with me, there is a comment section here for my opinion.

@ftwfckyea you can dislike his songs. Thats just your personal opinion. but that doesnt mean that the whole world should dislike him. If you think you are so great with guitar and blues then u come up with a song which can be as popular as Layla.
