ATTENTION: Everything in this video works for the GBA version of LTTP as well.

Here's another vid for SNES LTTP. Again, the gameplay was done by radblast from GameFAQs.

To perform the D-STEG (Diagonal STEG), position Link looking sideways and as close to the bottom of a staircase without go up it, as shown. Hold out your sword, and press LEFT+RIGHT+UP. If done correctly, you'll move in a diagonal movement. It only works on an emulator and is a bit hard to do, as shown by radblast's few attempts to do it.

The D-STEG allows you to reach Ganon relatively early in the game. If you perform it in the Hyrule Castle as shown in the vid, you can hop into the pot and face Ganon. This glitch was used in the SNES: 3 Heart Quest vids.

  • it's cool but why you can't touch Ganon ? in a other video I see the same technique and he defeat Ganon, so why ???? ( sorry for mistake )

  • @RoxySarah8z

I think it has to do with the glitch done in the beginning. It messed up how Link interacts with sprites.

  • Coolio.

  • Yeah, it is.
