  • thats why i go back too. Asante sana.

  • OMGoodness i went to Kitale Academy and i loved it there!!! I wish i can go back and thank them for who i am today.,.,

  • OMGoodness!!!!!!! i went to KITALE ACADEMY and myy, i miss it, i liked it when missionaries came and gave us stuff.,.,wow i would love to go visit again.,

  • As well, we give money to the street kids to buy a loaf of bread and some milk whenever we go to town. It is just a shame that these kids have to resort to sniffing glue to keep them going from day to day. It is good to see however that Google has started to outline the town and give it some form with street names etc. Sammy and Mama if you are reading this Bwana Awabariki naa we'll see you all soon. Give kisses to the kids and keep the Bedford running you crazy Maasai Man!

  • This is my wife's home town and we were married in Nairobi as well. We have seen the poverty in the streets, but why the kids on glue thing? I can understand if this is a depiction of why these kids need help through ministry, but certainly the title of this video shouldn't be "Why I go to Kitale" I love the town and watch the Evio Stars video from time to time to keep me whole. If you could only hear my wife tell stories of the Kitale she knew of when she was a kid

  • I just got back from Kitale Kenya with Steve Rutenbars team. Well he is still there at the moment.

  • Very moving. It feels like you have been there.

  • AWESOME and DEVASTATING!

If you're seeing these images and listening to these lyrics of hope and your heart is not yet broken for these precious children, please watch, pray and repeat until you are compelled to reach out and help. Allow these scenes and faces to be the baromoter by which you judge how many authentic challenges we here in our comfort truely face in a day and to whom we turn our eyes and hearts.
