I lost my brother to a roadside bomb in Iraq. I was amazed at how many people would say things to me like, well you are past that now, or you are over it about a month after the funeral. Our country does not understand grieving and loss well, and the public nature of a military death adds another dimension to the experience. Thank you Jerabek family, for sharing your story and the sacrfices you have made and continue to make.
