  • This is truth folks. Better listen again.

  • sounds like a yuk yuk Huckabee supporter duh why hasn;t gomer pyle dropped out he won't win hes Mccains Stalking Horse Cliton+Carter+Huckabee = McCain RINOs God help us we need a true Conservative !!!

  • As long as Fred Thompson is on your ballot there is choice

  • Didn't say adultery, said fornicating, which is sex outside of marriage. Fred is "noted" 2 have been quite a lady's man. The paraphrase quote, which is out in the world for quite some time now, is that Fred said he chased many ladies & many lades chased him, & he let himself & enjoyed getting caught by them. Maybe he didn't mean sex, but I doubt it. Do you care to enter into a conversation of how as a "conservative" this is "okay?"

  • A vote for Fred in the primaries is a vote for conservatism and a secure position if it goes to a brokered convention. If not then vote for the nominee there's much difference in the femaining field they are still Republicons.I ll hold my nose and vote for one them if I have to.

  • Where's your proof that he committed adultry? and your personal dislike of someone does not mean he is not the best leader of this country.Your views have no basis except you simply have another choice for President and you have that right,so back off and respect ours unless you have something that could possibly prove our choice otherwise.

  • I did some digging and it would appear the quote was in fact taken out of context. Do a search for a Washington Post op-ed column by Michael Gerson entitled "Callous Conservative." That's not the origin of the quote, but it should help clarify things -- although, remember, it is an op-ed. Bottom line: Fred was answering a question about whether he supports PEPFAR, President Bush's initiative to deal with the spread of AIDS in Africa. I'll let you read Gerson's column to find the answer.

  • Yup, I can see you getting your "freak" on for Dead Fred, and the "integrity and decency" exemplified by his years as a fornicator. Personally, I like my leaders to at least try to live the values they push, not brag about fucking women outside the boundaries of a committed, marital relationship.

  • if you can't find the specific quote on the Internet .. and you choose instead to trust what someone else told you ... then you really are doing yourself on helluva disservice.

The quote you allege you were told about .. seems ridiculous, or at least taken out of context.

Bottom line is that Fred doesn't attend church. He's probably a Deist more than a Christian. Good for him.
