Our last class 6

This is a video that I took while rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Almost all rivers in the world classify their rapids on a scale of 1-5. Some do go up to 6, but it's rare. The Colorado through the Grand Canyon is rated on a scale of 1-10. On our trip we started out on a 3 to get ourselves used to the water temperature (49 degrees) and then did some 4 and 3's and we did two class 6 and two class 7 rapids. This video is of the last class 6 that we did for the day. I hope you enjoy watching as much as we did rafting.

The Grand Canyon rapids are rated on a 1 to 10 scale unlike everywhere else which uses the standard 1 to 6.

This is no class VI - no colorado company will take you on a class VI

that doesn't look like a class 6 and besides that, i can't imagine any organisation taking a kid on board in a class 6 rapid.. i clearly heard a kids voice
